Sept. 13 – Alysha Corrigan scores twice in Canada’s quarter-final win over Australia at the Rugby World Cup.
Sept. 14 – Eastern Express (15U AAA) and Kings County Clippers (15U AA) win gold at Atlantic Baseball Championships. Eastern Express MacNevin (13U AAA) and Mid Isle Mustangs (11U AAA) earn silver.
Sept. 15 – Adam McQuaid promoted to Boston Bruins Director of Player Development.
Sept. 17 – Evan Mabey competes at the Canadian Futures Showcase hosted by the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Academy, featuring the top 150 amateur players from across the country.
Sept. 17 – East Coast FHC win Warriors Field Hockey Tournament in Halifax. Paramjeet Singh wins Top Goal Scorer award with 22 goals.
Sept. 20 – Julia Ghiz, Elle Flick, Tori Whitnell, Darcie Flick, Josh Lawlor, Ian Mosher, Noah Whitty, and Will Holland represent PEI at the Inaugural Atlantic Canadian Basketball Showcase in Halifax.
Sept. 21 – Sam Dowling scores twice competing for U15 Canada Futures lacrosse on US tour.
Sept. 21 – Farida Chishti recognized by Table Tennis Canada as the top official for 2025.
Sept. 22 – PEI Senior Islanders baseball win NBSBL championship, going 8-0 in the playoffs to mark their third straight league title.
Sept. 23 – Ross Campbell commits to the University of Maine Black Bears (NCAA) for the 2027-28 season following the completion of his junior eligibility with Charlottetown Islanders.
Sept. 27 – Martin Sobey finishes as top Canadian (16th overall) at World Triathlon Championship Series Weihai; sixth Top-20 finish of 2025 through 8 total competitions.
Sept. 27 – Alysha Corrigan earns silver medal with Team Canada at the Women’s Rugby World Cup, losing to the host Team England in the final 33-13.
Sept. 28 – PEI players win seven gold medals at the Atlantic Pickleball Championships.
