June 7th Liam Arsenault is drafted in the first round, 18th overall, in the QMJHL draft by the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. First PEI player drafted in the first round since 2021.

June 8thJackson Batchilder (Moncton – 37th), Derek Andrews (Cape Breton – 58th), Rowan Walsh (Charlottetown – 108th), Mason Cook (Cape Breton – 140th), and Brody Molloy (Baie-Comeau – 182nd) are drafted on Day 2 of the QMJHL draft.

June 10th – Football PEI athletes receive all-star awards from the 2024 Football Canada Elite Flag Nationals – Kenley Noye (U18 Women), Emery Arsenault (U18 Men), and Mason Ferguson (U16 Men).

June 12th – Livia Weatherbie and Ella Taylor invited to Ringette Canada high-performance development program, La Relève.

June 15thHannah Taylor wins gold at Sassari City Matteo Pellicine Memorial wrestling tournament in Italy.

June 15thMatthew MacDonald (Campbellton – 8th) selected in Round 1 of the MHL draft. Rowan Walsh (West Kent – 15th), Derek Andrews (Summerside – 16th), and Declan MacLauchlan (Summerside – 19th) selected in Round 2.

June 18thAmy Burk officially named to Paris 2024 Canadian paralympic goalball team for fourth time (2008, 2016, 2020), returning as captain.

June 22nd – Nishta Gokul (PEI Shotokan Karate Daigako) wins gold in female Cadet Kata at East Coast Games.

June 23rdRiley Bissett (Saint John Rapids) finishes as top rookie scorer in East Coast Junior Lacrosse League regular season with 26 goals and 24 assists in 14 games; 25 points more than runner up.

June 25th – Kyle Baillie named to Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team for 2024 Summer Series; beginning stages of 2027 Rugby World Cup qualification.

June 25th – Mark Quinn named an assistant coach with the Men’s National Softball Team for the 2024-2025 WBSC World Cup cycle.

June 29th – Elin Grimmet won two gold medals in cycling at the Jeux de L’Acadie (girls 11-14 short track & cross-country mountain).

June 30th – Rob St. Pierre and Nicholas Desroche officiate Men’s Gold Medal Game at the Senior Flag Football National Championships in BC.

June 30th – Team PEI finishes as runner-up at Eastern T20 Cricket Championships in Newfoundland and earn 3 of 4 major individual awards – Parth Patel (MVP), Navpreet Multani (Best Bowler), and Vikram Singh (Best Batter)
