April 1 – Changes to Make Ethical Decisioins
NCCP Make Ethical Decisions – Important Changes Coming
Overview & Rationale
Changes Coming to NCCP Make Ethical Decisions (MED)
- MED training and evaluation will be combined into one eLearning module available in The Locker.
- All facilitated delivery methods (in‑person, virtual-synchronous, home study) will be discontinued.
- After April 1, 2026, the current online evaluation will no longer be available.
- All training and evaluation will occur within the new NCCP MED eLearning module.
Why This Change? (CAC)
- Increasing shift toward eLearning across Canada.
- Improved consistency across the NCCP.
- Greater accessibility, simpler delivery, and stronger program impact.
- Ensures all coaches receive the same content and evaluation method.
- Prevents duplication — several sports had created their own versions; now there will be one unified MED module.
