Finalists & Winners announced for 52nd annual PEI Amateur Sport Awards
CHARLOTTETOWN – The Sport PEI Board of Directors has made its selections for the 51st Annual Sport PEI Amateur Sport Awards, which will be hosted Thursday, December 19th at Florence Simmons Performance Hall in Charlottetown.
This year’s awards will feature 8 categories with finalists including pools of four finalists for the Ladner’s Source for Sports Junior Male and Female Athlete of the Year awards. Winners of both 2024 senior athlete awards – Alysha Corrigan (rugby) and Mark Arendz (Para-Nordic Ski) – are returning as finalists this year as well as 2024 Intercollegiate Male winner Blake Kingston (swimming), while the junior athlete awards will recognize two first-time winners for the first time since 2022.
The Annual PEI Amateur Sport Awards, “Recognizing Excellence in Amateur Sport,” is scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the Florence Simmons Performance Hall. The award show will commence at 4:00 PM sharp, followed by a reception from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Follow this link to purchase tickets for $20.
