ADL & Sport PEI celebrate 25-year volunteers
Sport PEI and ADL celebrated some of the provinces longest serving volunteers at the Lone Oak Fox Meadow in Stratford, August 24th, 2023.
In attendance were volunteers who have been involved in sport for 25 years or more, some of whom have been involved for much longer. Amongst this group there were volunteers who have won National Awards, who have taken part in the Canada Games, who have been a part of sport organization boards in many different roles and many different sports, volunteers who have coached, officiated, and volunteered in every corner of PEI.
These volunteers have allowed youth on PEI to enjoy the benefits of sport, being active, and living healthy lifestyles. Without their work, sport would not happen. Without their leadership, sport on PEI would not be where it is today. We are truly grateful for everything they have done in sport, not to benefit themselves, but for the benefit of others.
On behalf of everyone at Sport PEI, thank you for the hours of dedication, sport would not be possible without you.
This program would not be possible without the support of our longest standing partner – ADL. ADL been a supporter of amateur sport on PEI for over 40 years, and they have been particularly supportive of our volunteers, through the sponsorship of this program and the ADL volunteer administrator of the year. Thank you for your continued support of sport on PEI!
