An inspiring She Leads event was held yesterday evening at Mill River Resort, bringing together athletes, leaders, and community members for a night focused on empowerment, connection, and shared experience.

The event featured special guests Abby Hustler, Reid Hart, Katie Lamarche, and Katie Baker, who each shared their personal journeys in sport, leadership, and personal development. Through their stories, the speakers offered insights into overcoming challenges, building confidence, and pursuing growth both on and off the field of play. Their contributions created an engaging and impactful evening for those in attendance.

Organizers expressed appreciation for the support of the Interministerial Women’s Secretariat, the Government of Prince Edward Island, and the Honourable Ernie Hudson. Their involvement was credited as an important factor in making the event possible and sustaining ongoing programming aimed at empowering women and girls across Prince Edward Island.

The She Leads initiative continues to focus on fostering connection, leadership development, and opportunities for young women and girls to learn from role models within their communities.
