External Sport Credit

External Sport Credit Program

The External Sport Credit Program (ESCP) allows eligible student-athletes to earn graduation credits in Grades 10, 11, or 12. While referred to as a sport credit, ESCP is an educational credit, with learning emphasized throughout the entire process of developing as a high-performance athlete.

The Department of Education and Early Years is responsible for the External Credentials program, while Sport PEI administers the External Sport Credit Program. Only sports that are members of Sport PEI are eligible to participate.
