External Sport Credit Program
The External Sport Credit Program (ESCP) allows eligible student-athletes to earn graduation credits in Grades 10, 11, or 12. While referred to as a sport credit, ESCP is an educational credit, with learning emphasized throughout the entire process of developing as a high-performance athlete.
The Department of Education and Early Years is responsible for the External Credentials program, while Sport PEI administers the External Sport Credit Program. Only sports that are members of Sport PEI are eligible to participate.

To begin the process, student-athletes must complete the Application Form (below). If accepted into the program, student-athletes will be invited to complete their Sport Folio.

Please note: Student-athletes must have access to a Gmail account, as all program work is completed through Sport PEI’s Google Classroom, which is separate from the Department of Education.
