July 2026 – For the first time in history, a three-peat championship has been claimed at the U16 Atlantic Bowl, and the title belongs to PEI. In their semi-final game on July 9, the team defeated Team New Brunswick in a blowout 64-0 victory. During the gold medal game on July 12, PEI came back from a rusty first quarter to defeat Team Nova Scotia with a final score of 48-20 to capture the championship.
