At the 2026 AGM on May 26, Sport PEI welcomed Charlotte Jenkins as President and Jake Deighan as a new director to the Sport PEI Board of Directors, continuing a proud family legacy of leadership and service within the organization.

Both Charlotte and Jake follow in the footsteps of family members who previously served on the Sport PEI Board of Directors. Charlotte’s grandmother, Marilyn Kane, served as a director, while Jake Deighan’s grandmother, Janet Knickle, held the role of President in 1994 and 1995.
