As per the Sport PEI bylaws, the Board of Directors is providing twenty-one (21) days notice to amend the organization’s bylaws at the Sport PEI AGM on May 26, 2026.

There are two areas for the amendments:

The purpose of the amendments to this Article is to: set board terms, simplify voting and quorum of the board, removal of board members, and clarity on written resolutions.

The purpose of these amendments are to modernize language, clean up text, etc.  For example:

  1. “he/she” to “they”
  2. plural to singular and vice versa
  3. grammar and spelling, such as possessive wording
