March 2 – UPEI Panthers win AUS Men’s Basketball Championship for first time in 22 years, defeating St. FX 84-79.

March 2 – Josh Bennett wins gold (+100 Veterans), Declan Crawford earns silver (-73 Under-18), and Cash Perry earns bronze (-73 Under-16) at the Matsuru Cup judo competition in Montreal.

March 2 – Lucas Macdonald earns Silver medal (U21 -90kg) at the Pacific International Judo Championships.

March 2 – Olivia Zhang breaks PEI record for 500m short-track speed skating at East Coast Cup.

March 2 – PEI powerlifters earn 6 medals and set 5 national records at Canadian Powerlifting National Championships – Heather Ayles (Gold – 57kg M2), Sophie Allen (Gold – 84+kg SO), Ethan Macdonald (Gold – 59 kg Y3), Rachel Arsenault (silver – 84+kg SJ), Jayden Kamphuis (silver – 83kg SJ), & Morgan McKenna-Ayles (Bronze – 84 kg SJ).

March 3 – Jenna Larter finishes Canada Cup Final with two gold medals in 500m and two bronze medals in the 100m event.

March 3 – Vanessa Keefe earns silver medal at USPORT Wrestling and helped Brock win women’s team championship with coaching from Hannah Taylor and Ligrit Sadiku.

March 9 – Holland College Hurricanes women’s hockey win ACHA championship for third consecutive season. Livil Lawlor and Kristyn Taylor named First-Team All-Stars; Emma Arsenault and Kailey Lutley named to Second Team.

March 9 – Sarah MacEachern and Cornell University women’s hockey team win East Coast Athletic Conference championship.

March 9 – Brett Gallant wins Montana’s Brier as part of Team Jacobs.

March 11 – Mark Arendz wins the Para biathlon World Cup season Crystal Globe as the overall season champion for a third straight year after finishing first in Biathlon Sprint Pursuit at the IBU World Cup finals in Sweden.

March 11 – Alex Newson named an Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association Second-Team All-Star in first season with King’s Christian Collegiate.

March 12 – Carson Gray of Holland Hurricanes volleyball named CCAA All-Canadian.

March 15 – Tommy Ling wins a silver medal in 100m Classic Cross Country ski race at the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin.

March 15 – Ellen MacNearney wins three gold medal at the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin – 7.5 km, 5 km, & 4 x 1 km relay cross-country skiing.

March 16 – Nolan Hughes wins junior Arena Lacrosse League Championship as part of Ottawa Loggers Lacrosse Club.

March 16 – UPEI Panthers men’s basketball finishes fourth at U Sports Nationals; highest national finish in program history.

March 19 – Tanner Doiron selected to referee at the U CUP Men’s Hockey Nationals in Ottawa.

March 21 – Cam Squires of Cape Breton Eagles scores 100th career QMJHL goal.

March 20 – Olivia Zhang wins bronze medal in 400m U13 girls division at Canadian Youth Short Track Championships – East; becomes second female PEI skater to medal at event following Jenna Larter.

March 24Zoe Stewart of University of Maine at Presque Isle Owls softball named UMPR Athlete of the Week.

March 25 – Joelle Bader named to Canada Soccer Women’s Under-17 roster competing at CONCACAF Qualifiers in Nicaragua from April 1-7.

March 27 – John Roberts named Team MVP for Mount Allison swimming.

March 28 – Martin Sobey finishes 5th place (top Canadian) at the 2025 Americas Triathlon Cup Miami.
