Feb. 2 – Ryan Dwyer commits to play NCAA D1 hockey at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NY).

Feb. 8 – Vanessa Keefe wins gold (68 kg) at OUA wrestling and helps Brock win 10th-straight women’s team title along with coach Hannah Taylor.

Feb. 8 – U14 Red Mudd volleyball team wins Nova Scotia Super Series.

Feb. 16 – U14 Wave Ringette & Team PEI (Open Division) win gold at 2025 Atlantic Ringette Championships.

Feb. 21 – Carson Gray of Holland Hurricanes named to first-team all-conference ACAA men’s volleyball. Marie Fogarty (Mount Allison), Amanda MacBain (Crandall), and Jenna O’Neill (Holland) named to second-team all-conference ACAA women’s volleyball.

Feb. 21 – UPEI runner Helena Ikpotokin wins gold in 300m event at AUS Track & Field Championships and sets school record (39.83s). She also won silver in the 60m dash.

Feb. 21 – UPEI jumper Alaere Peterside wins gold in women’s high jump at AUS Track & Field Championships.

Feb. 21 – Sarah Lewis finishes as team’s leading scorer in freshman season with Framingham State University Rams women’s hockey team.

Feb. 21-23 – Blake Kingston of UNB Reds swimming wins 3 gold medals (50m, 100m, & 200m breaststroke) and a silver medal (medley relay) at AUS Championships. He also broke his own AUS record (28.12s) in the 50m breaststroke.

Feb. 22 – Lucas Macdonald wins gold in the Under-20 92-kg division at Judo Quebec Open for second consecutive year.

Feb. 22-23 – PEI athletes combine for 26 medals at Eastern Canadian Biathlon Championships including 11 gold medals by: 

  • Paul Giroux (Adult 3 – 6 km Sprint & 7.5 Km Mass Start)
  • Darryl Boudreau (Adult 2 – 4.5 km Sprint)
  • Helga Reisch MacNeill (Adult 1 – 4.5 km sprint & 5 km Mass Start w/o rifle)
  • Thomas MacNeill (U17 Standing Boys – 6km Sprint & 7.5 Km Mass Start w/o rifle)
  • Declan Haltli (U17 Prone Boys – 6 km Sprint & 8 km Mass Start w/o rifle)
  • Clare Engen (U17 Prone Girls – 6km Sprint)
  • Juliette Kydd-Martinez (U17 Prone Girls – 8 km Mass Start w/o rifle)

Feb. 23 – Constance Gilman of UNB Reds Track & Field wins AUS Women’s Volunteer Coach of the Year.

Feb. 23 – Julia Henry, Marie Fogarty, & Monica Gollaher win ACAA women’s volleyball championship as part of Mount Allison Mounties team.

Feb. 23 – Team PEI (Lillian MacVicar, Isabelle MacKinnon, Frances Manning, & Maiya Chaudhary) win gold in women’s 4x200m relay, Hannah Kwok wins gold and Chloe MacInnis wins silver in U18 women’s pole vault, MacVicar wins silver medals in U20 60m & 200m races, MacKinnon wins bronze in U20 800m race at Atlantic Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Feb. 24 – Abby Larkin of Dalhousie Tigers named AUS Women’s Hockey Rookie of the Year, First-Team All-Star defense, and First-Team All-Rookie defense; qualifies as finalist for USPORTS Rookie of the Year.

Feb. 27 – UPEI Panthers men’s basketball coach Darrell Glenn wins AUS Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year, guard Kamari Scott wins Student-Athlete Community Service Award and named a First-Team All-Star, and Hugo Bermejo named to All-Rookie team.

Feb. 27 – UPEI Panthers women’s basketball’s Lauren Rainford named an AUS First-Team All-Star and Devon Lawlor named a Second-Team All-Star.

Feb. 27 – Jenna Larter wins gold in the 500-metre long-track speedskating event and bronze in the 1000-metre at the Canada Cup Final; her first national gold medal.

Feb. 27 – Holland Hurricanes forward Alexa Rancourt named to ACAA First-Team All-Conference basketball team and Chris Connolly named Women’s Basketball Coach of the Year. 

Feb. 28-March 1 – Vanessa Keefe earns silver medal (68kg) at USPORTS Wrestling Championships and helps Brock women to team championship.
