PEI Marathon is hiring a Marathon Coordinator

The PEI Marathon is looking for a student or graduate that would be interested working as a Marathon Coordinator.

Applicant Job duties would be to assist with the following:

Research of other Marathon Weekends Post-COVID, Social Media, Update Website and Merchandise Store, Assist with the Marathon Fundraiser, Administering the Marathon Team Relay – Registrations, contacting past captains, Applying for Event Permits, Assisting with details for the PEI Marathon Expo and Headquarters.

Other Activities to be performed by the applicant include: Attend weekly meetings with Directors throughout the year, Attend weekly meetings with the Full Marathon Committee, Assist in the planning and execution and wrap-up of the Evermoore Brewing Company 5 Miler, Georgetown 5 & 10K Run/Walk and the Island Tides 5K along with the many PEI Marathon Weekend Tasks.

Educational Requirements: Minimum of High School certificate. Preference given to – Post Secondary Event Management course or equivalent.
