Lifters to Represent PEI at National Event

The Canadian Powerlifting Union’s 2020 National Powerlifting and Bench Press Championships will be taking place March 3-7, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. PEI is sending four lifters and two referees to the event.

Jeri Munro will be competing in classic powerlifting in the Master 1, 72kg class. Heather Ayles will be lifting in the equipped powerlifting division in the Master 1, 57kg class. Rachel Mayaleh and Breanne Burgoyne will both be lifting in classic powerlifting, Junior, 72kg class. Stephen Flemming and Justin Smith will be serving as referees while Heather Ayles will be both lifting and serving as a referee for some sessions.
