What is an important skill that this coach has that makes them a great coach?

Gary brings hard work, determination and a never give up attitude to the field. Gary is very knowledgeable and has a great way of interacting with players to help them succeed and get the most out themselves to compete, learn and grow as players.

What lesson(s) has this coach instilled in you/athletes/or others?

Never quit, this is very important to Gary as a coach and he pushed his players to do all they can, strive to be great players but most of all, to enjoy the game and experience what comes with it.

Write a memory or story about this coach, that impressed you. 

I was an assistant coach with Gary at the 2023 U18 flag nationals… off to an unfortunate 0 and 3 start to the tournament, Gary was positive, encouraging and coached this team back to a bronze medal performance, upsetting the top ranked team from BC, he led and coached our group to a Cinderella story finish.
