September17th – 25th will be an opportunity for local coaches toincrease their training for free and be recognized for the integral role theyplay in our communities.

Charlottetown, PE – National Coaches Week is right around thecorner and Coaching PEI is excited to be facilitating several activities torecognize and engage coaches and athletes from across PEI. The week will provide opportunities torecognize a coach who has had a positive impact in your life, along with waysfor current coaches to improve their qualifications.
Coaching PEI is now accepting nominations for grassroots coaches who haveplayed an integral role in the lives of young athletes. Nominated coaches will be highlighted for theimpact they’ve had in their community.
As part of National Coaches Week, there will be four NCCP Modules offered forfree. Fundamental Movement Skills, Making Ethical Decisions, ResistanceTraining and Managing a Sport Program are now available for registration on theCoaches PEI Website. Deadlines forregistration start September 13th; a minimum of 8 coaches arerequired.
Additional activities during the week include sessions on the benefits ofmessage therapy and a CAAWS workshop on effective networking.
