What does this coach do that makes them a great coach?

BJ is a great coach because he always helps us on something specific we are struggling with, whether it’s drop shots, boats or drives he always makes us better athletes and makes sure we have solid shots.

What lesson(s) has this coach instilled in you/athletes/or others?

BJ has instilled that we should never get too worked up on the court and that we should always display good sportsmanship towards our teammates and competitors.

Patient – Sometimes it can be difficult to get something right in the court but BJ will keep trying with us until we get it right.

Effort – BJ will put in as much work as we do in a training session, he makes sure everyone including himself leaves the court expending lots of energy.

Committed – Training for Canada Games makes our commitment level is much bigger, BJ always shows up even with the busy life he has.
