August 30 – She’s Good – Fran MacWilliam

Sport PEI is hosting a ‘She’s Good’ event, August 30, 2023, at Mill River Resort (180 Mill River Resort Rd, O’Leary, PE C0B 1V0). The day will start at 9:15AM and end at 2:45PM. Cost is $30 and will include snacks, lunch, and a t-shirt. We are very excited that Fran MacWilliam, AUS rugby champion and championship game MVP, will join us!

It will be a day full of fun activities for the participants with guest chats, rugby, golf, fitness training, and much more. We truly appreciate Fran being involved in this program and can’t thank her enough for being a role model for young girls on PEI. Sign-up quick, there are limited spots available!

Our She’s Good events have a goal of inspiring and supporting girls (aged 10-16) lifelong love of sport and physical activity. Female sport leaders and professionals spend the day talking to the girls about healthy lifestyles, goal setting mixed in with a lot of fun.

Thanks to the 2009 Canada Games Legacy Fund for their support, as well as, Sport Partnership and Engagement Program, a project of the Sport Participation Bilateral which is jointly funded by the Province of PEI (Department of Health and Wellness) and the Federal Government (Canadian Heritage – Sport Canada).
