May 24 – PEI Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The induction ceremony for three of PEI’s most outstanding builders of sport will be held on the afternoon of Saturday, May 24, at Credit Union Place in Summerside.
Barb Carmichael (Field Hockey), Barb Mullaly (UPEI athletics) and Howard Watts (Boxing) will all be recognized at the ceremony, with induction into the PEI Sports Hall of Fame. All three inductees have contributed decades of growth, commitment and passion for their respective sports and institutions, and are incredibly deserving of this honour.
We look forward to a wonderful event.
The event will start at 1pm, and those who wish to attend and support Barb, Barb and Howard are asked to confirm their attendance no later than Tuesday May 20 by contacting Nick Murray at njmurray100@gmail.com or 902-393-5474
Cost to attend is $20.
As always, the PEI Sports Hall of Fame is grateful to the PEI Mutual Insurance Company, the Government of Prince Edward Island (Sport, Recreation and Physical Activity Division), the City of Summerside, and Sport PEI for their continued support of the PEI Sports Hall Of Fame and its induction ceremonies.
Please share this information and ensure that these three incredible individuals have a great crowd on hand to welcome them into the Hall of Fame!!
The induction ceremonies for Heather Moyse and Contessa Scott, the other inductees in the Class of 2025, will take place later this summer, on a date to be determined.
